Very good day indeed! The pour went so well.
There of course were the minor irritations that go with any timed event.
When I went to move the car to make room for the pump truck there was a lot of traffic using the street. But since we were looking at just our event it never occurred to me there could be a good reason for people to use this street when it is already full of pump trucks and concrete trucks. They were using the street because there was a fairly large sink hole across from the Harbour Inn. That meant everyone who wanted to go downtown had to find a way around.
Then when The Kid was almost set and had the remote control would not swing the hose right, just left. We were a bit concerned because the concrete is here and there are people ready to work. The solution was to call his dad to come and see if he could fix it. Somehow it just started working again which made everyone happy.
The weather was so nice today and will be again tomorrow that the guys went golfing.
I know we will pay for this next week when rain is called for most days.
