Again a day of delays and frustrations. Today we had to wait for plumbing to be moved and re-installed this was all of us standing around looking at pipes that were blocking the joist from going up. The decision was finally made and that was to build a wall out and put the pipes behind it. Once that was decided parts had to be purchased and water turned off.
At one point there was some discussion about us maybe not having any water again.
We had to take apart the kitchen sink and redo that as well as cutting sewer pipes.
It's bad enough that the cold and hot are reversed upstairs and the toilet fills up with hot water.
Tonight the water was getting so hot sitting was really uncomfortable because it turns out the water running into the tank would not turn off so it was just as hot as can be. Brian is too tired to tackle it tonight so we have to turn the valve on and off when we use the washroom. SIGH!
We did get the bulk of the old house down and the joists all up so tomorrow we start the floor.
At seven am we have the rest of the Fastform wall panels being delivered and at nine am we have the windows and doors.
I guess an early bed time tonight.

Taking down the rest of the walls. |

These walls are all down now as well. |

Russell likes to do big pieces. |
 |
We did need to cut these pieces down some more, they were just too heavy to move otherwise. |

Framing for the basement and upper stairs and the rest of the joists up. |

An example of how they built houses. That is quite a nice piece of joinery. |
