So much for taking down the addition in a day.  The guys are still at it and we are on our third bin.
There is so much wood and nails and insulation and another layer of wood and more nails and more wood and a ton of nails.

Today we are trying to get the beam up so the joists can be hung.  Noisy and messy with all that loose insulation that had been sprayed in.  We have some done but now there are a few that are problems.

The post and beam construction of the oldest part of the house means we cannot run pipes through the frame wall.  Which was stripped back to the lathe and plaster inside to accommodate pipes.  Now we will have to build out into the pantry to make room for plumbing and heating pipes etc.
Another delay because the plumbing cannot wait to much longer to get done.

Russell is working out really well he does not wait for instructions since he knows what needs to be done once it is mentioned.

There is a little mystery too.  Brian and I were in the house yesterday at about 4:30pm when we both heard someone throwing something into the bin.  Brian thought he saw someone walking around and assumed it was me but I was upstairs.
When we went to look a door and other stuff waiting to be thrown away were in the bin.  I thought John had come around to talk about today but we were already inside but he says no he was not here at all on Sunday.  So who was the mystery cleaner-upper?

Odd.

My awesome kitchen that I have to clean daily.

No running pipe up these walls so they will have to build out.

We have plywood over this now to keep it bug free and maybe a little warmer.
E/B

This will not be fun when it gets colder.

Layer upon layer, stucco, clapboard, strapping and drywall.
