Another two busy days.  We do feel we are making pretty good progress.

Yesterday was installing the large steel beams in the garage workshop.  This required the boom truck and some on site welding.  They were really late getting here so that did put us back some but the guys still got the beams prepped for joists after the truck left.

We are trying to take apart the addition as well so there is a lot of activity.

Yesterday Brian and I started putting the sub-floor down in the media room.  I took the camp chair up when we had some of the floor down and had a cup of coffee up there.  So nice being in the trees especially a maple that is turning red.

I hope we can continue at this pace but we cannot afford mistakes and the one we found today could have cost us time and money.  Some of the metal brackets were put on the top of the joists and as a consequence they were installed upside down.  It was only four and lucky for us the joist company said go ahead and leave them and sent a stamped confirmation that they were okay.

We are getting to know these guys quite well.

This is the back of the workshop.

Making holes for bolts.

It's hard right now trying to keep the animals out.

Beam # 2 was easier.

Cecil welding the post from inside the bathroom.  It got a little hot and needed some water.
