Last week we had Drew back to do some yard work. That was really him using his machine to be a giant weed whacker. The thistle and other weeds were taller than I am and I was not very happy about the state of the yard.
Drew needs to come back with giant stones to hold the hill up and do some final grading for a patio in back.
Now that we have got some rain again that will be put off for a while.
We did get our neighbours son to draw up some levels to drain rain water from the house and give us some ideas about how to fit a small pool in there.
After much discussion about what kind of pool, I want an above ground pool that we can camouflage, and the budget was discussed the cost was getting to be upwards of 100,000. dollars because he got the landscaping company he works for involved.
We did put a stop to that but will use his design and pay for that. He did the drawings as a separate item that we could use.
Still lots to do but the tree weeds are mostly gone.

He also removed a few spruce we thought we would keep but were in the way. |

Don't touch my rocks. |

The yard will be huge. |

The spruce were here. |

I said don't touch those rocks. |
