Brian and I are busy doing window trim. There is a lot of ripping and painting involved.
We decided to go with a plastic trim that will be there for a very long time and not be at the mercy of water or bugs. This Versatec product is quite nice and takes paint very well.
The long boards are really floppy though and are best handled with two people.
We need to get the trim up so the siding can be put on. I did not know that it all had to be installed first.
There is some hope that the siding will be put on next week. The siding is sitting at the store but We have not heard from the installer.
What we have found out about the Nudura system( or any concrete/foam build) is if you do not cover it quickly bugs move into it.
In the walls outside there was a massive ant nest, thousands of them. Kronk bug spray got rid of them quickly. Also in the walls are individual holes that wasps have dug for nests.
Back to painting more trim.

Brian does the high ladder work. I have gone up if I have to but I don't like it. |

Trim at top and bottom. Brian re-did the outside of the windows to his standards. Lots of work but worth it. |

We are trying to finish them the way it was done when built. |
