Still no luck with finishing the drywall mudding and such.  We did get an estimate for about $7,000. to do the upstairs alone.  Remember the drywall is already up so we thought this was a bit much.  He has been emailing back that he can reduce it to $5,500.  all in but I was expecting more along the lines of 3 to 4 thousand.  Ah well the guys have been telling me they can do it.  That they were expecting to do it and they are good at it.  Brian is a little leery but I would like to see some of their work before I look elsewhere.

I spend a lot of time on the computer still.  We find it is easier to source items we need online then call and find out what the local guys will do for us.
The one store is pretty good about coming closer to other stores.  We never expect them to go as low but if they come down a little we buy here.

And the plumber is still not back, really, he calls to tell us how unhealthy he is but that does not do us a lot of good.

We are now ready to pour in the workroom.  That really did not take very long at all.  The floor tubing was so much easier than the sunroom because it was 12" apart and not 6".  Brian, Russell and I got it done in one afternoon.  SWEET.

A little retail story for those who care.  I had found the vanities I wanted for the master bathroom.  Since they are kind of pretty I had to convince Brian that these were the ones I really, really wanted.  Of course you have to go into the store to buy them so we are off to Belleville to buy them.  On a Sunday afternoon there are very few costumers in Rona and the only busy person is in the plumbing section.  When I get someone else to help me they go off to find out about the vanities and come back to tell me I can have one but the other is backordered till March.  I was so disappointed and said we could not wait till March.  He just looked at me and said nothing.  Not "how about if I see who has them", "can I call another store for you" nothing so we left.
I called other stores around here and only one store in Kingston had them and this Rona will not take your credit card over the phone so even if we were going to pay them to deliver we had to drive to Kingston to pay for them first.  So we drove to Kingston picked them up and that is one bathroom done.  Yes. Although the guys were sweating trying to get them upstairs, maybe cussing a little too.

Putting in the control system for in floor heat.

Insulation and wire then tubing and tomorrow concrete.

Power concret loaned us a very large oil heater.  It is toasty warm out there.
