Exciting times in Picton.

We have almost finished the drywalling upstairs but cannot finish until the plumber does his job.  Brian is considering taking over the job just to get it done.  Bill shows up one day a week.  That will not get the job finished on time.

The decision has been made to maybe get someone in to do the mudding and taping.  They will also prime the walls so we just put on the finishing coat.  Right now it is more about the time needed to do that and professionals will get it done very quickly.

This will allow the guys to move into and finish the garage and workshop floors.  Once that is done and the doors are on we should be toasty warm.

That said the areas in the garage and workshop are already levelled and ready for the foam.
Drew was here all day trying to get the floors near where we need them to be so we can move forward.
It was a nice day for it since everything is melting.

I'm priming and painting the soffits so they can go up once the floor is in.  Not a horrible job but it is tricky getting paint into the bead when it is on the floor.

We are still trying to figure out the faucets and showers.  There are so many parts around we are not sure if we need to order anything else or send stuff back.  I'd like to get rid of it all and start fresh.  You can get sets with everything you need in one box and not have to deal with all these valves and trim kits that won't work with them.

Ah well at least we are making progress.

Men cleaning up!

Look at the small things floating in the air.

Heating guys.  It is always nice when we can get a full day with them.

Drew does a nice job.

The plywood strips at the bottom are for nailing trim to.

This is such a small part of the soffit we need.  Prime the front and back then final coat.
