I should just call in sick some mornings but today would not be one of them since I have not been out in the rain with the guys but staying inside and dry.
Had Rick remove the bin early this morning so the concrete truck could get to the basement window.
That went off without any problems.
Of course the hot water tank proved to be a bit challenging because there was not valve to cut the water supply. Brian had to go out at 7:30 to pick one up so he could install one and the concrete had to be pushed back to 9am.
That was not too bad because they were done at 10:30 and could start the walls upstairs.
Just as well we are working on the walls because our trusses are arriving Monday morning.
I really thought there would be a delay because we were told that often happens with this company.
They wanted to deliver them tomorrow but Brian asked for them to be delivered Monday.
Still looking for a roofer and what we will need for that job. Still have a few weeks before that needs to be done.
This is cold and damp weather but it does not deter the guys they really want it closed in as much as we do.
More fun tomorrow.

Last of the dirt covered. |

The floor is still really wet so they have covered the window so it warms it up a little. |
