Everything we have done the last few days was to prepare for this.

THE TRUSSES'S HAVE ARRIVED!!!!!!

As I sit here they are going up.  This is such a big deal because now we can close this in in the next few weeks and start to work inside.
We can dry out the subfloor and basement and I can use the outside kitchen again.

It is so nice to have these guys here who have done this before and just know what to do.  Brian is having some issues with everything not being perfect.  Exact measurements are part of Brian's work ethic. One sixteenth of an inch is not okay with him but to a builder it is.

The trusses's are easy for them to get up since they know what to do.  They think the trusses's are pretty well made too.  I think they might be finished tomorrow.

Then 150 sheets of plywood arrive and we start sheathing or sheet(Russell's accent makes this word sound different) ing the roof.  A waterproof barrier gets put on then shingles.

This is making me so Happy!

I have begun to appreciate boom trucks.

They just put them on the walls.

The driver was upstairs so John and Brian were getting the trusses's ready for lift off.
