Avery good few days.  The weather has been better even though it is cold in the morning it warms up enough for us to take our jackets off.

There were a few set backs with the trusses'.  Brian is an engineer and things need to be done to spec or code and there is no varying from that course.  I agree with him because it is a truss system and you need to maintain the strength of them by installing them to the design given.
That is not too bad and most are labelled and were put up in bundles that went together pretty quickly.  Brian did find some spaces and some of the wall plates had to be removed and re-levelled.  The guys find it frustrating because redoing a job just slows things down.  Like all of the work so far a one day job will take two because there is usually a setback.
Brian has also been a bit grumpy and they don't know what to do when he is.  They must get used to it especially because he is tired.  He has had terrible pain in his elbow and shoulder.

Everything was much calmer today and they got a lot of sheathing done.  The day will be nice tomorrow so we should get that finished and just wait for the roofer.

Then windows.

The walkway for putting up trusses.

A cool morning for Graham.  Nice kitchen?

Putting  2by6 at the end of the trusses.

It does look rather big.

Family room side.

The garage/workshop side.

Evan and Graham's game cabinet.  Evan has been doing this in Eden Mills and now it is in the living room here.

It will be interesting to see this done.
