Well we have started the drywall on the main floor.  I am very happy to be starting this job since it will take the two of us a while to finish it.
It took Brian a day to put plywood strips around the doors windows and at floor level so it will be easy to install the trim.
Brian is much more careful than the builders we had here so we should use a lot less drywall compound when we are taping and mudding.
He is taking his time and cutting out the doors and windows before the drywall goes up where as the guys would throw the drywall up and roto-zip around everything and leave fairly big holes where they missed.

I am still unpacking whenever I get some spare time and there is space to put stuff.
I still cannot find my summer shoes which will pose a problem when the weather gets warmer and large black shoes are all I have out.

Evan is here again but he is now working for a friend of his here so we don't see him during the day.

Tiles are still in piles in the bedroom waiting for drywall to be done.  That will be a fun job and I want to be here for it.

The heating and venting guy did not show again.  We really like him but it's getting as bad as the plumber not showing and no phone calls either.

The guy we called about putting a waterproof membrane on the deck has never called back.  I'm not sure wether it is a good idea to chase him or try someone else.  Drywall first then I'll call people.

Yes!! We start the drywall, no matter what John says about it being to much for me to handle.

It took Brian some time to prepare the room.
